<aside> 📌 Update Dec 8, 2022: People seem to have reported that you do not need a verified L-tike account in order to complete the application process. International-issued Credit Cards also seem to work during application.

The Ticketing Process Rundown

The process of obtaining tickets to the EXPO & fes is relatively simple if you are currently residing in Japan. However, for us foreigners, it’s a rather tedious process.

The ticketing site that EXPO & fes uses is ローチケ (hereby referred to as L-tike / Lawson Ticket), and the ticketing process can be split into three parts. In this page, I’ll mainly be covering the process of obtaining a ticket through the Advance Lottery (先行抽選) method, while the other method, Normal Sales (一般販売) is covered briefly in this section.
